As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a dynamic and collaborative environment. We are looking for individuals who can support our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, including foundations, algorithms, software engineering, and object-oriented design.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Provide individualized support and feedback to students to promote academic success.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments in computer science to ensure curriculum relevance and effectiveness.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Significant practical experience in computer science, including teaching and industry experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience teaching introductory computer science courses.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Racket/Scheme, Python, Java, and C/C++.
- Ability to teach in other areas of computer science, such as artificial intelligence and interface design.
