Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the communication and language development of students. This position involves working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to identify and address speech and language disorders, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each student, ensuring that they receive the necessary support to overcome their communication barriers.
  • Collaborate with Educators and Parents: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the growth and development of students.
  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Offer direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, to help them overcome their communication challenges.
  • Monitor and Document Progress: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed to ensure that students receive the best possible support.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team to ensure that students receive the necessary support to succeed academically and socially.
  • Offer Professional Development: Provide professional development and support to teachers and staff on speech and language topics, helping them to better understand and support students with communication challenges.
Qualifications
  • State of Colorado License: Possess a State of Colorado License with an endorsement as a Special Services Provider or be able to obtain within the first 60 days of the school year.
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • CO State License in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a CO state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence: Hold an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience in a School Setting: Have experience working in a school setting, preferably as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
