Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives.
  • Document and track student progress, making data-driven decisions to inform instruction and make adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • State SLP license (or ability to obtain licensure) and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
