Position Information: Full-Time Position, hourly wage between $19-$20.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize cooking stations with necessary ingredients and tools
  • Monitor the freshness and quality of all food items
  • Cook a variety of proteins, seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients using various culinary techniques
  • Adhere to standard serving sizes, quality benchmarks, and kitchen protocols
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels to ensure seamless service
  • Assist in food preparation during slower periods as required
  • Deliver timely and high-quality meal output
  • Follow guidelines for plate presentation and garnishing
  • Keep a clean and sanitary workspace, ensuring proper food handling and storage
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness in both reach-in and walk-in refrigeration units
  • Exhibit professionalism and foster positive working relationships
  • Follow safety guidelines and report any hazardous conditions
  • Comply with all policies outlined in the Employee Handbook

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of experience in a culinary role preferred
  • Possession of relevant culinary certifications or licenses
  • Understanding of food preparation techniques, equipment, and materials
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Capability to follow both verbal and written instructions
  • Adept at multitasking and performing under pressure
  • Maintaining a professional appearance is essential
