Position Overview

Senior Mechanical Engineer, PE

Health Talent Pro is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer/Designer with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in HVAC and Plumbing Design. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems used in commercial and institutional buildings, alongside a solid grasp of national mechanical codes, standards, and regulations. Proficiency in Revit is mandatory, and candidates should either have or be pursuing their PE registration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • A positive and proactive attitude is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive project assignments and design specifications from senior management.
  • Conduct detailed design work, including system approaches, equipment selection, mechanical room layouts, and client coordination.
  • Engage directly with clients and end users to comprehend and document their expectations.
  • Lead projects throughout both design and construction phases.
  • Complete project designs, drawings in 3D Revit and/or 2D CAD, site observations, specifications, calculations, equipment selection, and construction administration as required.
