Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Boise, Idaho. As a key member of our mechanical engineering team, you'll play a critical role in designing and delivering complex mechanical systems for commercial and institutional buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the coordination of mechanical engineers and multidisciplinary teams throughout project development
  • Establish and maintain client relationships, participating in marketing, design, and production meetings for mechanical systems
  • Assume mechanical lead on multiple projects, ensuring code compliance and project delivery
  • Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at project sites
  • Coordinate workload and track financial aspects of projects to ensure timely completion
  • Collaborate with project managers, regional controllers, and regional directors for project reviews and corporate management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical system design for commercial or institutional buildings
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in team coordination and project management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
