Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer or Project Engineering Manager to join our team at Boise Cascade. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Design, cost estimate, and plan projects related to wood products manufacturing lines
  • Interpret and implement engineering analysis, Boise Cascade design standards, and applicable industry codes and standards
  • Act as a Project Engineer and support the Project Manager in providing designs, calculations, technology comparisons, and other project-related tasks
  • Lead and manage subsets of projects within large-scale projects
  • Travel required
Requirements
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License or portfolio of relevant experience
  • B.S. in Engineering discipline with Mechanical preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience in the Wood Products or related industry
  • Advanced level of understanding in project management systems and techniques
Preferred Qualifications
  • M.S. in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified preferred
Compensation

Salary range: $84,700 - $164,500 (DOE)
