About the Job

We are seeking an Electric Utility Project Director to lead our team in the development and implementation of substation, transmission, and/or distribution projects in the Southwest region.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of project management principles and practices, with experience in leading teams and managing budgets. The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Manage project budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds.
  • Negotiate contracts with engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as engineering, business administration, or construction management. 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years of experience in leading teams and managing budgets.
