JobRialto is recruiting for the role of Procurement Specialist for our Indirect Procurement group. The category management area is Corporate and Workplace Services, specializing in Facilities Management, Human Resources, Fleet Management, Travel, and real estate with an emphasis on Facilities Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, coordinating and re-directing purchasing activities based on category.
  • To capture Indirect spend for sites in the categories supported, and define the relevant Sourcing approach, aligned with sourcing strategies.
  • To assist stakeholders in using contracts, executing competitive bids, spot buying, or coordinating specification-sourcing processes towards category management.
  • To collect and manage internal customers' feedback on the sourcing process to identify further Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction and Purchasing value creation opportunities.
  • To prepare and lead fact-based negotiations and select suppliers for all spend projects assigned.
  • To lead contract implementation and resolve issues.
  • To evaluate and renew contracts by identifying and prioritizing opportunities for reduction of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
  • To ensure the use of best practices and alignment with Procurement policies.
  • To provide team members with direction and support throughout the steps and activities of the strategic procurement process.
  • To develop and manage relationships with preferred/approved suppliers and track/develop their performance and conduct supplier performance evaluations.
  • To assist suppliers on performance improvement, to monitor progress, and ensure successful implementation.
  • To drive spend towards preferred suppliers, ensuring optimal leverage of spend and achieving significant supply base reductions.
  • To provide input to Category Management.
  • To collect all relevant information for Category management and discuss business needs to gain maximum fit for use.
  • To enforce contract compliance and report and recommend changes to Category management.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications, preferably in business administration, commerce, engineering, or other relevant discipline.
  • Knowledge of the Category in terms of products, services, and contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indirect Spend in terms of business dynamics, markets, innovation requirements, and growth opportunities.
  • Recognized qualification in Purchasing and negotiation and contracting skills and change management.
  • Substantial professional experience (5+ years) in Purchasing (Indirect), Business Intelligence, or other relevant discipline.
