Are you a driven sales professional looking to expand your territory and grow your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Development Specialist at Walter Surface Technologies.

The ideal candidate will have outside sales account management experience, deep knowledge of sales channels including welding, safety, construction, industrial, and STAFDA. They will be responsible for promoting and selling premium quality products to industrial, manufacturing, construction, and MRO facilities in northern Minnesota and North Dakota. This includes managing existing accounts, generating new leads, and building relationships with distributors and end-users.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, plus annual bonuses and quarterly incentives. Our comprehensive benefits package includes full medical coverage, car allowance, 401k, laptop, and cell phone. Flexible work from home options are also available.

In this role, you will utilize Salesforce to manage your opportunity pipeline, provide product sales forecasts, and work closely with the inside sales team to close sales leads. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

Job Description

  • Outside sales account manager experience or similar required
  • Deep knowledge of sales channels including welding, safety, construction, industrial, and STAFDA
  • Experience in Metalwork, Tooling, or Drill Bit industry strongly preferred
  • Relationship builder and ability to generate and cultivate new leads
  • Ability to handle high-volume fast-paced environment and maintain composure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
