As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, you will provide psychiatric evaluations, management, and treatment to patients in our Behavioral Health Unit and Behavioral Medicine Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including assessments and diagnostic testing
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health topics and treatment options
  • Participate in peer reviews, chart reviews, and other quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing required
  • 2 years of experience as a psychiatric APRN required
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Florida required
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required
  • Adult Psychiatric-Mental Health NP certification required
