We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Baptist Health Care. As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, you will provide psychiatric evaluations, management, and treatment to patients in our Behavioral Health Unit and Behavioral Medicine Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including assessments and diagnostic testing
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health topics and treatment options
- Participate in peer reviews, chart reviews, and other quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality patient care
- Master's degree in Nursing required
- 2 years of experience as a psychiatric APRN required
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Florida required
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required
- Adult Psychiatric-Mental Health NP certification required
