LifeView Group is seeking a skilled Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing comprehensive behavioral health care to adults and children with mental illnesses, drug and alcohol dependencies, and intellectual disabilities.

As a Psychiatric Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing inpatient, outpatient, and on-call psychiatric services for our clients. This includes conducting admission evaluations, completing daily rounds, checking medications, noting progress and condition of patients, and providing emergency psychiatric evaluations.

The successful candidate will have a State of Florida MD license and be certified/eligible as a Board Certified Psychiatric Practice. They will also be eligible for privileging at the appropriate hospitals and able to participate in State or Federal funded programs as Medicaid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend and participate in the monthly MSO meeting
  • Comply with professional licensing, credentialing, and privileging requirements
  • Document and report psychiatric services and activities within designated time frames
  • Provide admission evaluations, complete daily rounds, check medications, note progress and condition of patients
  • Provide outpatient individual and/or group therapy, medication management, and psychiatric evaluations
  • Provide emergency psychiatric evaluations
  • Provide inpatient evaluation and follow-up
  • Provide on-call services
  • Provide consultation, as needed
  • Maintain compliance with guidelines and requirements of LCI, MSO, and psychiatric standards, funding, and accrediting agencies
  • Provide consultation to community physicians

Requirements:

  • State of Florida MD license
  • Certified/eligible as a Board Certified Psychiatric Practice
  • Eligible for privileging at the appropriate hospitals
  • Eligible to participate in State or Federal funded programs as Medicaid
