Job Overview

At BH Management Services, we are committed to creating value through our apartment communities. As a Community Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful day-to-day operations of our properties while maintaining company standards and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect properties to ensure compliance with safety, industry, and regulatory standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

• Analyze market trends and economic data to inform marketing and leasing strategies, driving occupancy and revenue goals for our properties.

• Foster resident retention by responding promptly to service issues and monitoring satisfaction, ensuring a positive living experience for our residents.

• Oversee requests for repairs and maintenance, verifying and confirming the status of vacant units, and ensuring timely responses to resident requests.

• Collaborate with Regional Managers to develop operating income and expense budgets that align with owner objectives, cash flow requirements, and leasing strategies.

• Prepare property operational and financial reports, reviewing monthly income and expense reports, and coordinating revenue collection and accounts receivable management.

• Hire, train, supervise, develop, and mentor property team members, promoting a positive and motivating work environment.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of prior property management experience, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.

• Ability to travel for company-required training and business, with intermediate MS Office Word/Excel and computer technology skills.

• Professional demeanor, strong communication and presentation skills, and a positive, motivating attitude.

• Ability to work with diverse groups of people and customers, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or management, with a background in accounting or finance.

• CAM/Licensed Property Manager certification, with experience in Yardi software.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm, with occasional weekend work as needed to meet business requirements.
