Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier QA Engineer II to join our team in the Diabetes Care division. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our suppliers and their products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate potential new suppliers and service providers to ensure they meet our quality and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct on-site quality assessments and audits to ensure suppliers are meeting our quality standards.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any quality issues or non-compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure supplier quality and compliance are integrated into our business processes.
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance and quality trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure they are aware of our quality and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality management systems and procedures.
  • Conduct training and awareness programs for suppliers on our quality and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as quality assurance, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Lead Auditor training.
  • Experience with quality management systems, such as ISO 13485 or ISO 9001.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as FDA or EU MDR.
  • Experience with supplier quality management and auditing.
  • Strong knowledge of quality metrics and statistical analysis.
