Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness of the workspace and equipment.
  • Comprehend and follow operational procedures.
  • Ensure safe equipment operation in line with company protocols.
  • Initiate machine operations from a powered-off state.
  • Execute work order setups in electronic batch records, data acquisition, and inventory management systems.
  • Operate machinery, jigs, and fixtures to produce quality products at designated run rates.
  • Interpret gauges and dials as necessary on equipment.
  • Diagnose machine faults, resolve issues, and restart machinery.
  • Complete production records and work order documentation as required.
  • Conduct inspections or tests on products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Weigh, count, package, and label finished products.
  • Quickly learn to operate simple machinery.
  • Demonstrate adaptability in operating multiple simple machines.

Machine Characteristics:

  • Involves press and torque fittings.
  • Typically consists of fewer than 10 stations.
  • Requires low levels of operator attention.
  • Involves minimal alignment of stations and fixtures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and general computer skills.
  • High school diploma, GED, or successful completion of an Employment Assessment.
  • At least 6 months of clean room experience and machine operation experience.

Physical Requirements:

This role necessitates the ability to perform visual inspections with and without magnification tools. The position operates within a clean room environment, requiring the employee to sit or stand for the duration of the shift. The operator must also be capable of repetitively lifting and moving objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
