Job Summary:

OPT FOR HEALTHY LIVING is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join our team in the Department of Public Health Administration. As a tenure-track faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in public health administration, conducting research, and participating in service to the department, college, and community.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate courses in public health administration, including introductory courses and specialized courses in areas such as health policy, health law, and health management.
  • Conduct research in public health administration, including publishing scholarly articles and presenting at conferences.
  • Participate in service to the department, college, and community, including serving on committees, advising student organizations, and engaging in community outreach and partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Public Health Administration or a related field.
  • Experience teaching and working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • A record of, or potential for, effective teaching and scholarly research and publication in the field of public health administration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in public health administration, including health policy, health law, and health management.
  • Ability to teach across the curriculum in public health administration.
  • Relevant experience in public health administration, including experience in health policy, health law, and health management.
