Job Summary:
In the role of Culinary Operations Manager, you will oversee both front and back of house operations within the food service departments.

You will ensure the implementation of a high-quality culinary program while managing all financial reporting.

Your responsibilities will also encompass menu creation, inventory management, procurement, labor and food cost oversight, maintaining sanitation standards, and personnel management, which includes hiring, coaching, counseling, training, and development.


Key Responsibilities:
- Execute supervisory duties in alignment with organizational policies and applicable regulations
- Engage in employee meetings and training initiatives
- Implement safety, sanitation, and maintenance protocols
- Control food costs while upholding quality standards
- Actively participate in team development management
- Oversee purchasing and inventory management
- Undertake related duties and special projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Culinary Arts preferred or equivalent professional experience
- Five years of progressive culinary management experience
- Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of multitasking
- Maintain a positive demeanor under pressure and inspire the team
- Passionate about excellence
- Knowledgeable in HACCP controls along with proper food storage and usage
- Experience in purchasing, food storage, and sanitation
- Proficient in P&L and financial reporting
- Familiarity with budgets, labor costs, and inventory management
- Strong leadership, coaching, and training abilities

Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional business etiquette and client relations
- Ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 40 lbs
- Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Commitment to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical conduct
- ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus
