Head of Cardiac Catheterization Unit

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a committed professional to lead the Cardiac Catheterization Unit. The preferred candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a robust background in invasive cardiac care and proven leadership capabilities in cardiovascular services. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is advantageous
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience in cardiac care
  • A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within cardiovascular settings
  • Current New Jersey Nursing License, along with BLS and ACLS certifications

Work Schedule:

  • Daytime hours, Monday through Friday
  • Full-time position with rotation for weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the planning, directing, and management of departmental operations
  • Ensuring the delivery of quality services around the clock
  • Formulating and executing departmental policies
  • Supervising staff activities and ensuring adequate coverage
  • Conducting quality review assessments
  • Setting annual objectives aligned with the hospital's mission
