Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technician to join our team at Emerald Health Services. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures, operating medical equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including preparing patients, operating medical equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Operate medical equipment, such as fluoroscopy machines and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
  • Prepare and maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Current NJ License
  • 1+ Years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization
  • Proficiency in scrubbing, diagnostic right and left heart cath, interventional cath, CTO, structural heart, ablations, devices (including ICD, Pacemakers, loop recorders, etc.), interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
  • Equipment experience required: Sterile procedure and equipment set up, rotablator, IABP, closure devices, balloon inflator, and stents
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • ARRT or RCIS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in either cath or EP lab procedures
  • Experience with charting systems, such as EPIC, Cupid, and Merge
