Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Code Enforcement Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our code enforcement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising code enforcement staff, conducting property inspections, and enforcing city ordinances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct code enforcement staff to ensure effective enforcement of city ordinances
  • Conduct property inspections to identify and address code violations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve code enforcement operations
  • Collaborate with other city departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Provide training and guidance to code enforcement staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as criminal justice or business administration
  • At least three years of experience in code enforcement or a related field
  • Valid Texas Department of Health Code Enforcement Officer Certification
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
