Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Fraud Reduction to join our team at the Bank Policy Institute. This is a critical role that will play a key part in driving industry efforts to reduce fraud and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective fraud reduction strategies and best practices to mitigate current and evolving fraud threats.
  • Manage industry-wide initiatives focused on intelligence sharing, cross-sector collaboration, and evolving fraud threats.
  • Support the creation of fraud-related member symposiums and roundtables to discuss and address industry-wide fraud mitigation challenges.
  • Convene regular information-sharing forums, including committee and working group meetings, to facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing among industry stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including technology service providers, market participants, law enforcement agencies, and federal regulators.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of trends and tactics used to perpetrate fraud through multiple channels.
  • Excellent project and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and develop successful fraud mitigation strategies.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to senior executives and other stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

This is a Washington, DC-based position, with the successful candidate expected to work in the DC office Monday-Thursday and with remote work option on Fridays. Employees are also afforded an additional 20 days of flex/remote workdays annually.
