Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction materials testing services for both commercial and residential land development initiatives.
  • Direct project duties including management, coordination, supervision, and guidance of technician staff involved in earthwork, concrete, foundation, masonry, steel, EIFS, and pavement testing.
  • Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals, and participate in pre-bid meetings.
  • Conduct on-site project inspections, focusing on soil bearing and compaction tests, as well as concrete and steel evaluations.
  • Engage with clients and attend necessary site meetings to ensure project alignment.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Geology is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering or Construction Project Management is desirable.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in managing construction projects of varying scales is essential.
  • Ability to estimate labor requirements for diverse construction projects is important.
  • Business development experience is advantageous, along with strong client communication skills.
  • Experience in managing construction personnel is a plus.
  • Certifications in specialty construction testing are beneficial.
  • Additional duties may be assigned to support the Branch Manager in achieving operational success.
