Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Molecular Pathology Tech to join our team in the Clinical Molecular Laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment and records, performing quality control and quality assurance activities, and providing training to technologists and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Specimen handling: Receive, access, and process blood and other human specimens
- Perform and report tests according to standard operating procedures
- Assist with the smooth operation of the department, including clerical duties and inventory control
- Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology, Medical Technology, or Biologic Science
- Licensed Medical Technologist with Molecular Specialty by the state of Florida
- 12 months experience in molecular pathology, medical technology, or related field
