Chief of Pediatric Neurology Opportunity

The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a visionary leader to serve as Chief of Pediatric Neurology. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a distinguished pediatric neurology program renowned for treating complex neurological conditions at Wisconsin's largest children's hospital. Our Neurosciences Center is the largest and most comprehensive in the state and Children's Wisconsin is a nationally Recognized Level 4 Epilepsy Center - the only Level 4 freestanding pediatric epilepsy center in the state.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set the vision and strategy to advance the pediatric neurology program at Wisconsin's largest children's hospital.
  • Elevate our reputation as a leader in pediatric neurology, striving to develop outstanding clinical programs both regionally and nationally.
  • Lead a team of 14 physicians offering the most advanced diagnosis and treatment options with access to state-of-the-art facilities, technology, advanced research and clinical trials.
  • Oversee the growth and advancement of high-impact research and quality improvement projects that enhance patient care both locally and nationally.
  • Foster an environment that enriches the educational programs for the Child Neurology Residency, Pediatric Neurocritical Care Fellowship, other residents from across the state, and medical students.
  • Successfully recruit and retain diverse, talented faculty, and foster their career development.

Requirements:
  • Leadership experience and a passion for clinical innovation, education and research.
  • Hold a MD, MD/PhD, DO, or foreign medical equivalent degree.
  • Be board certified in Pediatric Neurology (ABP/ABPN) and eligible for full unrestricted licensure to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Scholarly activities should support an appointment at the associate or full professor level.
