Seeking a Fellowship Trained Pediatric Non-Invasive Imaging Cardiologist

The Department of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin is committed to excellence in pediatric non-invasive imaging. We are seeking a fellowship trained pediatric non-invasive imaging cardiologist with advanced training in echocardiography and cross-sectional imaging to join our team in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Children's Wisconsin.

The successful candidate will be part of a nationally recognized academic imaging team within the Section of Cardiology and Department of Pediatrics. Our busy imaging group performs and interprets nearly 12,000 echocardiograms and over 600 cardiac MRI's and 150 cardiac CT scans per year.

The ideal candidate will have completed at least 12 months of specialized training or equivalent experience in pediatric non-invasive imaging with emphasis on echocardiography as well as cardiac MRI and/or cardiac CT beyond the 3 years of core pediatric cardiology fellowship. Additionally, they should be board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics Sub-Board of Pediatric Cardiology.

Clinical duties may include both general cardiology inpatient service and outpatient clinic. Additional service and clinics in general cardiology can be negotiated.

The Herma Heart Institute is internationally recognized for excellence, particularly in the care of children with complex forms of congenital heart disease.

The Herma Heart Institute provides comprehensive pediatric and adult congenital cardiovascular services throughout the Midwest and consists of 30 pediatric cardiology faculty members, 3 pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons, 7 pediatric cardiac intensivists, a dedicated cardiac anesthesia team and a cadre of highly invested and talented nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
