Position Overview

Donohoe Companies is committed to providing exceptional service, and we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Room Attendants.

Role Responsibilities

As a Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean and welcoming environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Thoroughly cleaning and preparing guest rooms and suites to meet our high standards, which involves making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and organizing furniture.
  • Restocking essential items in guest rooms, such as toiletries, paper products, and towels.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in common areas, including hallways and entryways.
  • Ensuring housekeeping carts are stocked and organized daily.
  • Managing key control effectively for issued keys and those left by guests.
  • Reporting any lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper for proper documentation.
  • Alerting the Executive Housekeeper to any unusual situations in guest accommodations.
  • Taking care of laundry and dry-cleaning requests from guests.
  • Accommodating special requests from guests to enhance their stay.

Confidentiality and Organization

It is essential to maintain the confidentiality and security of guest rooms. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping linen closets and supply areas organized and neat, as well as addressing maintenance needs and guest inquiries or complaints promptly.

Additional Duties

In this role, you will also:

  • Follow all established work rules, procedures, and policies set forth by the hotel.
  • Be flexible with your schedule, as the hotel operates 24/7, and shifts may vary based on business needs.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, and bend throughout the shift.
  • Strong independent work ethic.
