Job Description

Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at AccorHotel. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and inviting. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain all assigned guest rooms, including dusting, making beds, and replenishing supplies.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a clean and healthy environment for our guests.
  • Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Update and record all cleaned rooms to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Return and properly tag all lost and found articles in the Housekeeping Office.
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Report necessary maintenance issues to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to our guests.
  • Sign in and out master keys daily to ensure security and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities to handle guest complaints and issues.
  • Highly responsible and reliable to ensure timely completion of tasks and duties.
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Weekend availability is required to ensure adequate staffing and coverage.
  • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset, but not required.

Physical Aspects of Position:

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift to ensure efficient cleaning and maintenance.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs to ensure effective cleaning and maintenance.
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting to ensure effective cleaning and maintenance.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps to ensure effective cleaning and maintenance.
