Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Legends. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting all food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling of staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Directly manage staff while interacting with customers to provide a memorable dining experience.
  • Maintain and control high-volume food and beverage inventory to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
  • Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages, evaluating compliance with corporate procedures.
  • Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality to ensure consistency across all locations.
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures are documented and enforced to prevent discrepancies.
  • Interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
  • Conduct physical audits of inventory and product, researching and performing reconciliations to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Must meet state and city health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Must be able to work fluently in English.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds up and down stairs/ramps.
  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks, including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
