About the Role

Benevis is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to patients and parents, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer service to patients and parents, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits, ensuring accurate information is recorded in the patient's file.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy waiting area and front desk, creating a welcoming environment for patients and families.
  • Coordinate with the Clinical Team Leader and Doctors to provide same-day care to patients, ensuring seamless communication and efficient scheduling.
  • Assist with meeting office financial targets by ensuring hygiene and operative schedules are full, and scheduling follow-up appointments for patients.
  • Answer incoming calls, direct callers to the proper person, and take messages as needed.
  • Ensure patient records are accurate, up-to-date, and securely stored, adhering to all government regulations and company compliance programs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; office experience in a dentist's or physician's office preferred.
  • Experience working with children's dentistry a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
