Sanitation/Maintenance Assistant

At APL Logistics, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sanitation/Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily maintenance and housekeeping of our facility is performed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning and inspections to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and facility deficiencies.
- Assist maintenance personnel with building maintenance tasks as needed.
- Participate in AIB/SQF inspections and provide support to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Inspect equipment and supplies to ensure they are in good working condition and report any issues to supervision.
- Two to three years of sanitation experience.
- AIB/SQF experience and knowledge of regulations.
- Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, debris blower/vacuum, scrubber, power-washer, and snow plow/blower.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write legibly, and perform basic math skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive hourly wage of $20.50, plus shift differential.
