SSWLHC is a non-profit organization that has been providing reproductive health care and education to residents of the region for over 90 years. Our mission is to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

Job Summary

The Chief Executive Officer and President will be responsible for the overall operations of SSWLHC, including fiscal management, leadership and supervision of staff, risk management and quality assurance, public and community relations, strategic planning, and board relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fiscal Management: Oversee the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, and grant management.
  • Leadership and Supervision of Staff: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the organization's staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
  • Risk Management and Quality Assurance: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the organization's compliance with regulatory requirements and to maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Public and Community Relations: Develop and implement strategies to promote the organization's mission and services to the community, including media relations, community outreach, and partnerships.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term plans to achieve the organization's mission and goals.
  • Board Relations: Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and its board of directors, including providing regular updates and recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Transformational leader with a demonstrated passion for reproductive and sexual health care and education.
  • Proven track record of outstanding results in challenging environments.
  • Visionary skills and management talent.
  • Proven personal success in fundraising, with an emphasis on major gifts solicitation.
  • Experience in health care or public health is preferable.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in managing an organization of similar size and complexity, preferably in some aspect of health care.
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in management, community/public health, education, or social welfare services is preferred.
