Position Summary:
This role entails delivering engineering expertise for projects related to water and wastewater utilities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop design calculations, technical documentation, permits, and engineering schematics along with specifications for the creation of water and wastewater infrastructure, encompassing distribution and collection networks, lift stations, and treatment facilities.

2. Evaluate and design water distribution networks, incorporating demand forecasts and prolonged period simulations.

3. Assess and design wastewater collection systems, including demand forecasts and lift station configurations.

4. Draft proposals, define scopes of work, and prepare contract cost assessments as required.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited institution.

- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification in the State of Texas.

- A minimum of 15 years of experience overseeing significant water and wastewater projects from initiation to completion.

- At least 10 years of experience managing clients in municipal utility districts.

- Comprehensive understanding of design and construction methodologies for water pipelines, storage facilities, pumping stations, wastewater pipelines, lift stations, and forcemains.

- Familiarity with the design and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

- Proven capability to cultivate and sustain professional relationships with clients, municipal utility districts, public agency representatives, and community leaders.

- Active participation in professional organizations and community groups.

- Availability to work standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
