Key Responsibilities- Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel features, services, and hours of operation, as well as all spa services, retail, and professional products.
- Provide warm welcomes and fond farewells to each guest, ensuring a personalized and attentive experience.
- Accommodate all guest requests in a timely and courteous manner, resolving any issues promptly and efficiently.
- Handle guest complaints in accordance with our instant guest pacification procedures, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide providers with accurate daily schedules, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Ensure that providers are paged and/or advised of arrival of all guests, maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Successfully complete the training and certification process, staying up-to-date with the latest spa services and products.
- Notify engineering of any maintenance needs, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.
- Assist the Fitness Center, Salon, and Spa as needed, providing a comprehensive and integrated experience for our guests.
- Perform any task deemed necessary by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies, maintaining a high level of financial integrity.
- Obtain department keys and secure the security of such, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our guests and staff.
- Access all functions of the computer system in accordance with department specifications, maintaining a high level of technical proficiency.
- Set up workstations with necessary supplies, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Legibly complete requisitions for additional supplies and materials, submitting to the Spa Front Desk Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Review in-house guest lists and be familiar with guest names and room locations, providing a personalized and attentive experience.
- Ability to stand for periods exceeding 50% of shifts, with the ability to lift, reach, bend, stoop, stand, and walk continuously.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including pushing and pulling heavy equipment, on a daily basis.
- Considerable repetitive motion of hands and wrists as relates to the use of computer keyboards, with the ability to promote spa products and services.
- Ability to schedule various services for individuals and large groups utilizing spa reservations software, with the ability to input and access data in the computer system.
- Ability to remain stationary at assigned posts for extended periods of time, with the ability to close out cash drawers and perform job functions with minimal supervision.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous, with the ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Salon and Spa desk.
- Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration, and make concise decisions, with the ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up.
- Ability to focus attention on details, maintaining confidentiality of all guest information and pertinent hotel data.
- Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team, with flexibility in schedule.
