About the Role:

We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Medical Assistant who can perform various clinical and administrative duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for physician examinations, maintaining accurate medical records, and assisting with office procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and prepare them for physician examination per established office protocol
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Assist with office surgical procedures and provide oversight to vaccine program following State guidelines
  • Check and restock rooms with necessary supplies and ensure exam rooms are prepared for the day
  • Report lab results to patients and follow through with any physician instructions
  • Answer requests from pharmacies for prescription refills per office protocol

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of a Medical Assistant Program, certification/registration as an MA, or 5+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
  • Previous experience working in a medical facility is preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced confidential medical environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
