At Volt Workforce Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team in Portland, OR.

Job Overview:

As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our operations by utilizing handheld computer scanners, forklifts, and VWS software to communicate with external suppliers.

Estimated Salary: $21-$23 per hour (dependent on experience)Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management through the use of handheld computer scanners and other tools.
  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to support warehouse operations.
  • Supplier Communication: Utilize VWS software to effectively communicate with external suppliers.
  • Warehouse Operations: Participate in receiving, putting away, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
Requirements:
  • Self-Motivation: Be able to work independently with a positive attitude and self-motivation.
  • Technical Skills: Possess sufficient skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computer data entry.
  • Physical Demands: Comfortable standing for extended periods, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, bending, and working in various temperature conditions.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to occasional hours during peak season.
