Job Description

This position is responsible for driving the operating profit associated with selected additives in ADM North America Animal Nutrition's Specialty Ingredient business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute product strategies for respective additives.
  • Manage product life cycles and SKU architecture to optimize asset returns.
  • Collaborate with sales, technical, production, marketing, and product development teams to ensure ideal product mix.
  • Work closely with operations and quality to ensure supply of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Monitor competitive market activity and adjust commercial strategies accordingly.
  • Project manage growth and capex projects while working closely with stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities.
  • Optimize supply chains, order execution, and warehouse footprints with S&OP teams.
  • Negotiate toll production agreements and identify optimal toll partners and operating structures.
  • Prepare and develop reports for internal management and external presentations.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales teams to finalize marketing materials.
  • Assist with accounts receivable management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Agriculture, Nutrition, or Animal Sciences.
  • Five or more years of experience in Animal Nutrition or Animal Health related to additive-based products.
  • Strong knowledge of high-value products and additives.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain annual business plans, including financial targets.
  • Strong financial acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and communicate with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong working computer knowledge, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Salesforce.
