Commercial Sales Manager

Welcome to Gordon Food Service, where we're passionate about delivering excellence and expertise to our customers. As a Commercial Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in presenting our customers with a consultative, relationship-focused approach that will make their food service businesses thrive.
This position will reside in Macon, GA, and you'll be responsible for leading a team of high-performing, results-driven outside sales representatives. Your goal will be to create a robust succession plan and develop the next generation of leaders.
As a Commercial Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading People: Hire, develop, and retain staff, creating robust succession plans and developing the next generation of leaders
- Developing Business Plans: Develop sales targets for individual sales representatives
- Engage with the Industry: Visit key existing and future customers
You'll learn how to lead following the Servant Leadership model/framework and participate in food shows, regional customer events, customer segment shows, and customer trips to headquarters to maintain visibility with customers, segments, or associations.
We're looking for a candidate with four or more years of previous sales or business experience, demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, including profitability models, and ability to work evening and weekend hours.
