Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires. Ensure a seamless transition for new employees and maintain accurate records.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and provide counseling as needed. Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies and procedures, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment and managing employee questions and issues related to benefits. Provide clear and concise information to employees.
  • Performance Management: Assist with performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on career development plans and performance improvement initiatives. Help employees set and achieve goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date employee records and stay informed about changing laws and regulations.
  • Policy Implementation: Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, ensuring alignment with company goals and legal requirements. Collaborate with management to develop and maintain effective policies.
  • Training and Development: Assist in organizing and facilitating training programs for employee development. Identify training needs and provide resources for employees to improve their skills.
  • HR Reporting: Prepare and analyze HR reports as needed for management. Provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in human resources or a related role.
  • Skills: Knowledge of HR best practices and employment law. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Certifications: SHRM or PHR certification preferred but not required.
