About the Position

The Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration seeks a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Supervisory Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to our nation's veterans. This role is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), which can help alleviate your educational debt burden.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based treatment to veterans with acute or chronic mental illnesses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Counsel and treat patients with substance use disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in any US state or territory.
  • Board certification in a relevant area of clinical specialty.
  • At least one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in psychiatric mental health.
