Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

HP Hood is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant and facility equipment, including electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.
  • Work with little supervision, using strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Company safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of maintenance mechanic experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with maintenance on blow mold equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
