The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with experience in areas such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC. They will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner, while also maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on properties, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems;
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems;
- Assist with the preparation of vacant apartments for rental, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs;
- Participate in the construction and build-out process of new properties, including installation of fixtures and appliances;
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner;
- Collaborate with other members of the facilities team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of tasks;
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred;
- At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role, with a strong background in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC;
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights;
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
