The Customer Experience Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. This includes greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving concerns in a polite and professional manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating front-end scanning equipment and cash registers, performing all related check-out procedures, and maintaining accuracy during transactions.
  • Maintaining knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions and provide product information.
  • Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and department guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensuring smooth function of the department and store by cooperating with coworkers and supervisors, and continuously improving job performance.
  • Responsible for utilizing all company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including cut-resistant gloves, safety cutters, and company-sponsored footwear.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without an accommodation. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

  • Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). No prior experience required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork.
