Surgical Nurse Specialist

The Surgical Nurse Specialist at Arkansas Surgical Hospital provides exceptional patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment. This role requires a registered nurse with one to three years of experience, preferably in orthopedic, neurosurgical, or pain management specialties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement patient care according to established standards of nursing practice
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in performance improvement activities to maintain quality and promote desired outcomes
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and ability to delegate activities to staff as needed
- Provide documentation of patient care in the patient record according to established standards
Requirements:
- Current state license as a registered nurse
- Current CPR certification
- ACLS certification required within one year of employment
- One to three years of experience as an RN, with preference for experience in orthopedic, neurosurgical, or pain management specialties
Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 per year
