Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Arkansas Surgical Hospital - Physician Owned. As an Advanced Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled nurse with experience in orthopedic and neurosurgical specialties.

Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent critical thinking skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include:

Assessing patients' needs and developing individualized care plans
Providing expert nursing care, including medication administration and vital sign monitoring
Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
Educating patients and their families on post-operative care and management of pain and discomfort

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

A current state license as a registered nurse; current CPR certification; ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment
One to three years of experience as an RN, preferably in orthopedic or neurosurgical specialties
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000-$105,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
