Position Overview: General Manager of The Handle Bar


As one of the most frequented dining establishments in Jackson Hole, The Handle Bar is a vibrant American pub and beer hall, boasting an extensive selection of domestic and international beers, whiskeys, and delectable offerings.

This venue is the perfect gathering spot for skiers, travelers, and social enthusiasts alike. The menu features a wide array of classic pub fare with a contemporary twist, including snacks, soups, and salads that enhance the lunch and dinner experience.

Role Summary:

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole seeks a General Manager for The Handle Bar who embodies a passion for excellence and brings enthusiasm to every aspect of their work.

The General Manager will oversee daily operations and lead the management team of one of the village's busiest dining venues.

Work authorization for the location is a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the planning, organization, and training necessary to meet restaurant objectives related to sales, costs, employee retention, communication, guest service, food quality, and sanitation.
  • Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and professional, gracious service at all times.
  • Execute all responsibilities with efficiency, respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy, and initiative.
  • Understand the management philosophy and maintain consistent attention to detail and adherence to all restaurant policies.
  • Represent the restaurant professionally through effective communication and collaboration with all business partners.

  • Foster a culture of respect and create a work environment that encourages team members to learn, grow, and develop their skills.
  • Lead the management team, ensuring service standards align with external accreditation sources and the established service philosophy at The Handle Bar.
  • Fully comprehend all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training initiatives.
  • Provide constructive solutions to challenges and actively participate in the decision-making process.
  • We seek individuals with a deep understanding of guest service, food and beverage operations, exceptional leadership capabilities, and strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule to fulfill major responsibilities and willingness to accept assignments as needed to promote teamwork.

This may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.



  • Act with integrity and knowledge that reflects the culture, values, and mission of The Handle Bar, Four Seasons, and Mina Group.
  • Some travel may be necessary.
  • Candidates should possess three to five years of relevant experience in a similar role.

A college degree is preferred.



  • Previous experience in a luxury resort setting is advantageous.
  • Successful candidates must have legal work authorization in the United States.
