Key Responsibilities- Lead Maintenance Team: Manage, direct, and assign tasks to maintenance personnel to ensure all assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Safety Management: Lead safety committee meetings and daily safety briefs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operations Coordination: Work closely with the local Operations Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and General Manager to research problems and communicate necessary information.
- Inspections and Reporting: Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operations and maintenance inspections are completed within given time constraints.
- Software Management: Manage software database to ensure work orders and tasks are completed and closed in a timely manner.
- Emergency Response: Respond to and direct emergency and spill response activities.
- Communication: Represent the Company in a positive manner, modeling ethical business behavior and integrity.
- Record Keeping: Review records and reports to ascertain data required for planning department operations, coordinate equipment service with operations and scheduling.
- Safety Policies: Assure adherence to safety policies and report all accidents and injuries, investigating ways to prevent re-occurrence.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Two to five years of related experience in the aviation industry, with prior management, supervisory, or lead experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of equipment used in the aviation industry, ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with arms, climb or balance; and talk or hear.
- Additional Requirements: Possess a valid driver's license, prior aircraft fueling experience required, and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing.
