Job Title: Residential Clinician

Sound Behavioral is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Clinician to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide therapeutic interventions to clients at Keystone in the Fremont neighborhood.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct services such as individual and group counseling, assessments, case management services, care coordination, treatment planning, progress notes, Crisis Plans, Behavior Plans, and monthly LRA/Court order monitoring and/or internal and external organization referrals for clients.
  • Develop treatment plans and maintain accurate and timely clinical records according to organization policy.
  • Comply with training and licensing standards per county expectations for a Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) and state guidelines for assisted living facility (ALF).
  • Prepare necessary reports, summaries, and progress notes, and incorporates them into clinical records.
  • Assists clients as they work to remain stable in the community, thereby reducing the use of hospitals or involuntary treatment services.
  • Monitors medication regimes and treatment compliance.
  • Monitors utilization of services and the success of outcome measures.
  • Participates in team member meetings, consultations, case presentations, and in-service training.
  • Participates in ongoing program development and assessment.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a Mental Health Professional (MHP) eligible program is preferred. A Bachelor's degree with MHP designation is required.
  • Experience with case management, assessments, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction Model, and Trauma Informed Care preferred.
  • Be able to maintain appropriate boundaries with residents and staff and have sound judgment.
  • Have the demonstrated ability to work effectively under supervision, as well as independently when necessary.
  • Be able to apply crisis intervention skills and manage potentially volatile situations.
  • Be able to promote and support the use of recovery principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and personal interaction skills
  • Be able to do simple mathematics.
  • Have proven assessment skills to evaluate resident functioning
