Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Clinician to join our team at Sound Behavioral. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide therapeutic interventions to clients at our Keystone program in the Fremont neighborhood.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct services such as individual and group counseling, assessments, case management services, care coordination, treatment planning, progress notes, and crisis intervention.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely clinical records according to organization policy.
  • Comply with training and licensing standards per county expectations for a Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) and state guidelines for assisted living facilities (ALF).
  • Prepare necessary reports, summaries, and progress notes, and incorporate them into clinical records.
  • Assist clients in remaining stable in the community, reducing the use of hospitals or involuntary treatment services.
  • Monitor medication regimes and treatment compliance.
  • Monitor utilization of services and the success of outcome measures.
  • Participate in team member meetings, consultations, case presentations, and in-service training.
  • Participate in ongoing program development and assessment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a Mental Health Professional (MHP) eligible program is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree with MHP designation is required.
  • Experience with case management, assessments, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction Model, and Trauma Informed Care is preferred.
  • Mental Health Professional designation is required.
  • Obtain and maintain current Agency Affiliated Counselor license with DOH within first 30 days of hire.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Must have a valid Washington State Driver's License and insurable driving record.
  • First Aid and CPR certifications are required within 30 days of hire.
  • A Food Handler's Permit is required within 30 days of hire.
