As a Field Service Engineer Associate, you will be responsible for the setup, removal, and relocation of advanced medical equipment within your designated territory.

- Provide technical support and guidance to clients as needed.
- Conduct final calibration, compliance testing, and application training for customer approval.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and manufacturing best practices.
- Instill confidence in customers regarding your ability to resolve technical issues.
The following qualifications are essential for this role:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an electro-mechanical discipline is required. Previous training in biomedical systems, x-ray fundamentals, electronics, or computer technology is necessary. You should be capable of quickly understanding new product technologies with minimal formal training and utilizing technical documentation and maintenance procedures.
Demonstrated proficiency in servicing complex electronic and electromechanical systems in the healthcare sector is essential. You must be adept at operating all relevant testing equipment and instrumentation, including oscilloscopes and diagnostic tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to present information effectively to senior management. You should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Additional Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is necessary for service-related travel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical capability to lift heavy items (50 lbs or more) is required.
- Willingness to travel extensively is essential.
This position reports directly to the Senior Service Manager.
Physical Demands:
The physical requirements for this role include:
Regularly sitting and communicating effectively. Occasional standing, walking, and using hands for various tasks. The ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds is necessary, and travel may constitute up to 50% of your time.
Work Environment:The work environment is typical of both office and manufacturing settings. Adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment, is mandatory.
