Role: Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator

Schedule: Part Time - Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8 AM - 5 PM

We are currently in search of an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator who will play a vital role in assisting patients seeking orthodontic services. This position involves addressing inquiries related to treatment plans and associated costs, ensuring that patients leave with a comprehensive understanding of their options. By promoting a positive patient experience, you will contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding dental care and creating memorable experiences for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively present orthodontic treatment plans and provide cost estimates.
  • Educate patients on the orthodontist's treatment plan after thorough review by clinical staff.
  • Monitor collections and follow up with patients as necessary.
  • Explain and promote adherence to company payment policies and procedures.
  • Achieve high treatment acceptance rates by clarifying treatment costs, insurance coverage, and financing options.
  • Solicit referrals from patients post-treatment while tracking satisfaction levels.
  • Contact patients or guarantors to confirm appointments and discuss fees due.
  • Maintain the highest standards of integrity by complying with all regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with additional duties that support the orthodontist's practice.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator in a dental practice is essential.
  • At least 3 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of orthodontics and treatment planning is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to clearly articulate orthodontic techniques, treatment plans, and relevant codes is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental insurance, service limits, and financing options is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) is strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Additional certifications may be required based on location.
